We currently have an excellent full-time Neurology Physician Assistants to perform a variety of functions and technical procedures including patient admission, assessment, diagnosis, treatment, follow-up, and outcome evaluation in our stroke telemetry unit. We also offer to be part of research studies if interested! Extremely PA friendly team. Excellent opportunity to learn in our growing neurology team. New Grads are welcome as we have senior physician assistants who are eager to teach. We also have abundance of PA students rotating through our department.
We require:
· Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited PA Program; Master’s preferred.
· Board Certified by NCCPA (National Commission on Certification for Physicians Assistant)
· New Grads are welcome. We have experienced PAs who are ready and willing to train.
· Extremely PA friendly service line.
· Experience or neurology rotation would be a plus.
· Any surgery or procedure-related experience is a plus.
· Licensed by the NY State Department of Education.
· BCLS certification. ACLS certification if departmental requirement.
· Valid DEA number
