The Super Compute Group – SCG (part of AXG – Accelerated Computing Systems and Graphics Group) is looking for a Data Center System Validation Expert to join our dynamic and growing team. You will bring your broad understanding of systems and their interfaces with architecture, design, and post-silicon validation to improve the health, stability, and performance of the following domains: Machine Learning, High Performance Computing, Video Transcoding, and Cloud Gaming. The scope of the deliverables will vary based on the target platform and specific issue at hand. Hence, you will need a solid big picture understanding across the whole system.

Responsibilities:

Validation lead/expert for one or several specific data center domains across products. Decision maker to assess and drive the quality of your specific domains.
Create, define, and drive system validation environment and test suites; monitor execution to coach validation managers and engineers to achieve the best quality for our products.
Help drive development of methodologies, execution of validation plans, and debug of root level failures.
Cross functional technical leader working with Chip and System Architecture, IP/SOC, Emulation, Platform (Post-Silicon Validation), Power and Performance Attainment, Product Engineering, Reliability, Board Engineering, Firmware, and Software teams.
Lead meetings and collaboration with design, validation teams to triage, root cause and provide resolution on complex validation test failures.
Lead the cross-function teams through complex feature integration and validation.
Deep dive on domain specific use case and workload to attain functional quality and performance working with respective engineering teams.

Qualifications

10+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas:

One or several of the following Data Center domains: Machine Learning, High Performance Computing, Video Transcoding, and Cloud Gaming
Data Center system expertise in various customer environments
Platform Debug, Stability, MTBF, Validation methodologies
Silicon and/or platform validation
Understanding of GPU (Graphics Processing Unit) Hardware and Software
Linux overall expertise, Linux Drivers

Annual Salary Range for jobs which could be performed in US, Colorado: $171,710.00-$274,890.00

Work Model for this Role

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site.
