The Retail IS&T Finance organization is chartered to provide sound financial governance and oversight across our Engineering teams to ensure Apple Retail executes the right-sized projects (dollars and people resources) to keep Apple Retail on the cutting edge of customer service. In this role, you will not only support in critical financial processes but also lead the way in Retail & Engineering Solutions’ key initiatives and business analyses. You will partner with key engineering stakeholders across the organization, as well as those throughout IS&T and Finance.

Key Qualifications

3 – 5+ years of relevant experience in a high performance organization.
Demonstrated success in managing multiple activities/projects, priorities, and people in a dynamic environment.
Should be able to act independently and be self-motivated.
Proven analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, including executive level presentations.
Great teammate with the ability to partner across different organizations and at all levels.
Ability to craft a narrative/story using qualitative and quantitative data.
Desire to learn, improve, and innovate.
Knowledge in Procure-to-Pay processes.

Description

As a business analyst on the team, you will play a crucial role in the finance strategy for the Retail & Engineering Solutions organization. In collaboration with customers, you will be a key financial leader in analyzing the financial health across the organization and driving major initiatives. Success in this role includes building trust and partnerships, having a hunger to continuously learn, demonstrate a sense of ownership, and being motivated to improve and innovate (especially in the face of ambiguity). Primary responsibilities include: Being the finance strategic partner and driver for key Retail & Engineering Solutions initiatives, such as Role Conversion. Collaborating with Engineering teams to analyze resource activities and ensure proper allocation. Leading and driving the development of a Financial Health Scorecard for Retail & Engineering Solutions, analyzing the financial state and highlighting areas of opportunity. Supporting critical financial processes and analyses, such as the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) process and CapEx Project Reviews for Retail. Additional requirements: Strong Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills. Experience with enterprise software systems and/or Apple internal applications (e.g. eApproval, SAP, Tableau) a plus.

Education & Experience

B.A./B.S. or higher in Finance, Accounting, or relevant field
