A Snapshot of Your Day
This position will be located within the West Region (CA, WA, OR, NV, ID, UT, AZ, WY) and will be responsible for calling on power plants, utilities, EPCs, and developers with a primary focus on power generation and power generation service.
How You’ll Make an Impact

Be a main contact for customers as part of the platform team. Develop meaningful relationships with key stakeholders, internally and externally
Host regular face to face meetings with customers in both plant and corporate settings. Forecast opportunities, upsell plant upgrades and manage the sales process and team, from lead to order entry. Attend relevant conferences and trade shows
Drive new sales from identified renewable developers
Create and maintain strategic account plans for key accounts. Maintain accurate Salesforce.com records.
Travel domestically and internationally for customer meetings, factory visits and acceptance tests
Ability to learn and represent the entire portfolio represented including new generation, generation service, transmission and distribution, digital offerings, hydrogen, and energy storage.

What You Bring

Bachelor of Science Degree required, with a preference for master’s in business or engineering
5+ previous years of sales/marketing and/or power generation experience is required. Those with more experience may be considered for a higher level.
General understanding of the bulk power system in the United States is a must. Must be able to a key contributor as part of a team. Domestic and International travel is required up to 50%.
Ability to support customers, as needed, outside of traditional working hours is a must. Expert interpersonal, organizational, communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain meaningful relationship at all levels of customers, from procurement and engineering thru the C-Suite is required. Ability to multitask multiple accounts, opportunities, and tasks at the same time.
Experience working with Siemens Energy power generation and power generation service teams is a plus.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
