Job Description :
The Director of Commercial Operations role is responsible leading a growing sales and commercial operations team while minimizing risk to Agora. This position is a primary point of contact to our existing originators within Agora, as well as being responsible for all day-to-day management for our portfolio of originators.
This role will require a diverse skill set composed of customer service and consulting to optimally provide Agora’s sales operations team and our originators with the support needed for a successful business relationship and to ensure compliance with our agreements. This individual will be tasked with implementing process improvements to guide the success of the Agora program and our customers.
Candidate must be a strategic leader and hands-on operations specialist. This position reports directly to the SVP, Head of Sales.
What You’ll Do
Develop & lead the growing Sales and Commercial Operations Team inclusive of Account Managers, Implementation Managers, and Sales Analysts.
Establish & measure Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the team while maintaining a focus on continuous process improvement.
Collaborate between multiple departments as the point of contact between Agora sales, Risk Management, and our clients.
Shepherd and manage process and collateral in conjunction with the Risk team as part of customer discovery.
Track processes and documentation assisting counterpart and due diligence processes.
Develop processes & procedures that enrich the sales operations pipeline and expedite the customer experience. Manage and implement improvements to the customer journey including but not limited to lead generation, customer discovery, onboarding, and account maintenance.
Monitor & manage customer base Key Portfolio Indicators, leading Account Management team on originator Policies and Procedures.
Ensure a high level of communication between Agora and our customers, maintaining regular follow-up throughout the customer journey.
Provide guidance and mentoring to the Account Management team in response to customers management needs as related to their borrowing base and LOC strategies.
Completion of additional projects, reporting and various tasks on an as needed basis.
What You Need
Minimum 5-10 years professional experience and 3-5 years focused on commercial or sales operations.
5+ years of industry and commercial experience including auto, structured finance, and/or financial services
Ability to manage multiple complex projects at once through completion.
Intense attention to detail and process improvement.
Outstanding customer service skills and professional correspondence both in person and electronically. Detail oriented and can communicate effectively both externally and internally via phone, email, and in-person meetings.
Ability to organize and work under strict time and production deadlines, while producing quality deliverables.
Self-motivated and managed; ability to work independently and as part of a team with limited supervision
People focused and team first mindset to personal and professional development.
Familiarity with software products like Salesforce, Zoho, Excel, and Zen Desk
Adept at learning and then teaching new technical, financial, and regulatory information
