About the role
We are seeking an entrepreneurial local associate with excellent customer service skills to join our team as we launch a new and innovative retail brand! As a part of our Operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring a best-in-class shopping and sales experience for our customers. As an early team member, your efforts and feedback will help us shape and optimize our product from the very beginning. You will:

Serve as a brand ambassador in the local community
Own and optimize the entire in-person retail experience at the customer’s door
Clearly and effectively communicate with customers, many of whom will be experiencing our offering for the first time
Assist customers in using the app successfully, provide tutorials on new features, and make sure the checkout process is seamless
Foster meaningful customer relationships by creating personalized shopping experiences, understanding their preferences, and providing valuable suggestions
Serve as an expert on all products and brands carried by Santa, convey product and brand knowledge to customers in an authentic and relatable manner
Keep up-to-date on shopping trends across numerous product categories
Build strong relationships with the local store and brand partners, curate ideal product selections for Santa with our partners, and optimize their experience by collecting and implementing their feedback
Support inventory management activities, including receiving, tagging, and monitoring inventory
Participate in merchandising activities, ensure the store is always organized and the digital presentation of products is top quality
Maintain operational standards daily to ensure daily, weekly and monthly goals are consistently met

Minimum Qualifications:

Excellent customer service and sales skills
Strong verbal communicator
Outgoing, high energy, and eager to engage with people
Proactive, effective problem solver
Detail-oriented in all aspects of experience and operations
Merchandising and retail store experience highly appreciated
Interest in startups, businesses, and technology appreciated

Job Type: Full-time
Salary: From $22.00 per hour
