Job Description :
Job Title: Quality Inspector
Job Summary:
The Quality Inspector ensures machined parts conform to drawing specifications during receiving, in-process, & final inspections. Quality inspectors are expected to read and analyze blueprints to ensure parts conform to all standards and requirements. This position may require documentation of inspection results when required by the customer and will follow the procedures set forth in the quality management system. They must understand the use of first article forms and particularly AS9100 FAIR forms.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Required Skills/Abilities:

Must be proficient with standard mechanical inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, depth gages, comparators, & CMM’s.
Knowledge of Industry standards
Working knowledge of Shop Mathematics
GD&T
Knowledge of machine shop tools and measuring equipment
Ability to Interpret manufacturing drawings
AS9100 FAIR
CMM operation and use of PC DMIS software
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel

Education and Experience:
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a quality inspection or related position
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 – $24.00 per hour
