Job Description :
O.R. Builders, Inc. is currently hiring for a full-time Construction Estimator to perform a variety of estimation tasks for our building company in the Mountain View, CA area. This full-time estimating position earns a competitive base pay .

DAY-TO-DAY
Our Construction Estimator is essential to the operational success of our company as you complete several estimating duties for our building projects. We rely on you to effectively work with our CEO, perform detailed material takeoffs (MTO), assemble detailed itemized estimates, and determine labor rates and hours required to perform each project. Further, you tap into your skills and experience to read and interpret various documents such as construction contracts, drawings, procedure manuals, and more. When needed, you write routine reports or correspondence and verbally present information to customers, co-workers, suppliers, and the public. Finally, when inquiries and/or complaints arise, you can maintain composure and seek to resolve any issues promptly and appropriately. Ultimately, you help ensure our projects go off without a hitch with your attention to detail and dedication to providing accurate estimates for our clients!

REQUIREMENTS
5 or more years of experience or training in the construction trade industry
Prior experience performing residential framing construction
Comfortable using computer software such as MS Windows, MS Excel, MS Outlook, and web browsers
Able to operate a copier and the company phone or voice mail system
Experience building very high-end residential projects are preferred, but not required. The ability to speak both English and Spanish is also a plus!
