Job Description :
Enlist as a soldier into the
United States Army and become a Geospatial Engineer who finishes compilation of geospatial data into a printable map/product and prints (maps, overlays, and special products) hardcopy geospatial information. This is NOT a civilian contractor position.
No experience is necessary. The position is entry-level.


Provide invaluable visualization of the land and battlefield in advance of sending troops into unfamiliar terrain. From conditions and effects of terrain and weather on vehicles and troop movements to points of tactical interest during missions.
Extract and analyze geographic data from satellite imagery, photography, and field reconnaissance, then use this data to create different types of maps and databases.
You will also use the information you gather to support military and civilian operations for Disaster Relief and Homeland Security.


10 weeks of Basic Training.
20 weeks of Technical School with on-the-job instructions.


30 days paid vacation annually.

Between 17-34 years old.
No felonies. (Defer Adjudication included).
