Global Key Account Manager (2202579) – Houston, Texas – Hybrid
Where the Chemistry Happens
We are looking for a professional like you who will be the Global Key Account Manager for Halliburton’s sales and business development and leadership of the entire “virtual” account team, as well as the development and implementation of the account strategy. You will manage key customer relationships at corporate headquarters and affiliate locations globally and identify new revenue opportunities globally with special emphasis on those in North America, with full accountability. You will work independently, to monitor regional business performance, including delivery reliability and forecast accuracy targets.
Qualifications – BASF recognizes institutions of Higher Education which are accredited by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation or equivalent
Formula for Success
Utilizing your in-depth knowledge of Account planning/strategy and Value Chains, you will contribute to annual sales plan for the key account; develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales and growth targets. Account Management experience will be considered an asset.
Leveraging your Bachelor’s degree, you will evaluate business opportunities, develop specific customer value propositions and plans for implementation, and selling value-added solutions. An advanced degree (MBA or Ph.D) will be considered an asset.
Coordinating BASF sales efforts for the account globally, you will develop and negotiate customer contracts as necessary.
Establishing key relationships with customer’s business segments globally, you will assist the customer sales team in product approvals, project bids, and new product introductions.
Serving as focal point for customer communication, you will be point-of-contact for various topics including contract negotiations, joint development, global bids, tolling (make-vs-buy), sustainability, and local content.
Collaborating across the customer’s matrix organization, you will connect various parts of the customer’s organization as necessary to leverage full potential of BASF offerings.
Acting as advocate for the customer within BASF, you will coordinate with internal stakeholders as necessary to meet customer needs.
