Company Overview
MedEquipped is a custom wheelchair provider. MedEquipped specializes in providing patients with their medically appropriate mobility needs and helping improve their overall quality of life.
Job Summary
The OTA/PTA will be expected to evaluate patients, recommend the necessary equipment, assist the treating clinician with justifying their recommendations and educating the clinician, patient and ordering practitioner with whatever necessary documentation in order to obtain a prior approval for the wheelchair from the funding source. All training is provided.
Responsibilities and Duties

Candidate will be expected to have good communication skills, as they will need to facilitate education, work with therapist, Dr and patient.
Understand the patient’s limitations and goal.
Willingness to drive to different patients throughout the state

Qualifications and Skills

OT, PT, OTA, PTA or ATP
Passed Background check
1,000 minimum hours of patient care experience

Benefits and Perks

Compensation base $50,000 plus commission- potential within six months of $100,000.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year
