Our client is a luxury French couture House that specializes in ready-to-wear, shoes, and leather accessories. They are seeking a Women’s Luxury Accessories Department Manager to join their prestigious team of luxury professionals.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$115k with Monthly bonus eligibility
Position Overview:
The Women’s Luxury Accessories Department Manager must have worked in luxury, ideally in a flagship location. The Women’s Luxury Accessories Department Manager will oversee the Leather Goods department within this luxury designer boutique on Madison Ave, New York, NY. This is a high-profile store and candidates need to have 5+ years of management experience, strong product ownership, and the ability to coach/develop teams to build their client book and achieve sales. The expectation for the Luxury Women’s Accessories Department Manager is very demanding in terms of precision and performance. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, agile, passionate, and eager to evolve in a demanding role.
Responsibilities of the Women’s Luxury Accessories Department Manager:

Meet sales goals set forth by the company
Manage and motivate the Sales team to provide the highest level of customer service in order to achieve maximum sales results
Manage the use of all client relationship resources (training tools, client books, etc.) to provide personal assistance to customers
Develop events/incentives that will continue to grow the customer base with particular emphasis placed on building the local market
Maintain the highest degree of customer service every day
Empower associates to make decisions in the best interest of providing good customer service by serving as a proactive mentor and problem-solver
Partner with the Logistics and Product team to ensure appropriate assortment
Maintain good communication with members of the corporate office, mall office, repair facility, and other stores
Meet inventory accuracy and shrink requirements
Support the Visual Manager in planning, scheduling, and executing an innovative, compelling, and well-executed visual environment with the express purpose of enhancing the customer’s shopping experience

Qualifications of the Women’s Luxury Accessories Department Manager:

6+ years experience in a retail setting with an emphasis on operations, store management or office administration, preferably in a luxury setting
Candidates with client books are strongly preferred
Passion for luxury products with an appreciation for design
Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes, evenings, weekends, and holidays
Foreign languages a plus

Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree is required
