JOB TITLE: COURIER & TICKET MACHINE OPERATOR
**MUST POSSESS A VALID NYS DRIVERS LICENSE AND HAVE WEEKEND AVAILABILITY**
GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES
Under the direction of the OTB Office Manager, is responsible for the delivery and pick up of various OTB equipment, forms, etc. at the branch, regional and corporate office. Responsible for the selling and cashing of wagers in a the buffalo branch locations.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Makes monthly or daily deliveries/pick ups at all metro area branches & E-Z Bets
2. Picks up small order items at various vendors
3. Maintains an inventory of supplies and forms used by the branch
4. Re-orders supplies and forms from Batavia for storage in metro warehouses
5. Assists maintenance personnel when needed – no maintenance duties
6. Accepts and accounts for wagers received in specified horse racing events and New York State Lottery instant and online games.
7. Cashes winning tickets, examining for authenticity.
8. Assists in performing miscellaneous routine tasks such as branch housekeeping, preparing morning lines, etc.
9. Performs other related duties as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Must possess a valid New York State driver’s license
ACCEPTABLE TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE
A high school diploma or its GED equivalent
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $13.20 per hour
