Job Summary

The Business Services Division delivers services to support the educational programs of Orange County school districts, partnering agencies and the business community it serves. The division strives to improve efficiency and implement business solutions with a high level of customer service and professionalism, while fostering a collaborative work
environment.

OCDE is seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated individual to serve as Administrator, Compliance Support Services. The selected individual will lead teams, coordinate services and support related to payroll, retirement, credential management, fingerprinting, and other related services to OCDE. The incumbent will serve as a liaison for OCDE, school districts, and other agencies regarding the development and implementation of policies and procedures in support of district compliance in the related areas.

Requirements / Qualifications

Education and Experience: Any combination of education and experience that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities is qualifying. A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college with major course work in accounting, finance, business, public administration, information systems or a related field.
Five (5) years of increasingly responsible educational experience, the areas of school budgets, curriculum, program development, or implementation in public or government entities.
