The Albert C. Wiltshire Employment Center recruits qualified candidates for positions within the Brooklyn Navy Yard, a 300-acre industrial park housing over 400+ businesses within the manufacturing, food, media, technology, and creative fields.
Description:
A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based shoe manufacturer tenant is looking for an Office Coordinator. The candidate will Correspond via phone/email/mail with external and internal partners. Create a positive first impression for all guests by acting as a brand ambassador and representing ECCO’s core values. Greet visitors and correspond with external and internal partners in a courteous and professional manner. Be responsible for operational activities, including processing incoming and outgoing mail, ordering supplies, and booking reservations.
Minimum Qualifications – Education & Experience· High school diploma or GED equivalent.· Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a reception or administrative support role.· Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).Minimum Qualifications – Skills & Abilities· Ability to communicate clearly, concisely and professionally (verbal and written).· Strong ability to set priorities, effectively manager disruptions and accomplish tasks/projects effectively.· Superior organization and follow-up skills.· Ability to maintain a calm, courteous and professional demeanor at all times.· Highly reliable in terms of attendance and punctuality.· Ability to be resourceful and proactive in dealing with issues that may arise.· Requires little or no direction in performing day-to-day responsibilities.· Ability to work under pressure while maintaining composure, patience and understanding.· Ability to work with and maintain confidential information.· Ability to read, write and speak English at a proficient level.· Ability to read, write and speak Spanish is preferred, but not mandatory.Travel Requirements· N/APhysical Requirements· Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.· Ability to sit for prolonged periods.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $45,000.00 per year
