Corning Life Sciences is a global leader in cell culture and can apply this technology with 30 years in the market to a new workflow. Position Responsibilities/Overview: Innovation program manager is accountable to develop MAP level innovation programs, starting with the Corning Advanced Flow ReactorTM product for use in transfection mixing and bioprocess workflows (adherent and suspension) and go-to market plan. This includes leading workstreams for the cross-functional team, managing strategic customer relationships to support the development objectives and delivering a business plan to support a go/no-go decision on the product.

Day to Day Responsibilities:

Define product strategy and vision including product definition, go-to-market and e cycle

Determine value prop through customer research

Lead or participate in cross-functional discussions to drive decision making and execute the AFR for Transfection program.

Build complete understanding of issues, develop strategic response options, select, and recommend the best course of action, secure leadership support and drive into implementation.

Develop and prioritize product development roadmap, working with key stakeholders (internal and external) to gain a comprehensive understanding of situation and development options

Manage all aspects of the program including ensuring appropriate IP, technology agreements, partnering with the Ascent team, AFR team, information technology, development and research

Update leadership including customer steering committee, Life Sciences leadership and Research/Corning senior leadership as appropriate

MA Required Education:

Bachelor’s degree in relevant coursework (biology, business or engineering)

MBA preferred Required

Years and Area of Experience: • 2-3 years of experience in commercial, product line management and/or product development

Relevant experience in bioprocess is a plus
