A Brooklyn Navy Yard-based distillery is currently seeking a Delivery Driver/Warehouse Driver.
Description

The ideal candidate is someone who is punctual, professional, detail-oriented, and works well in a fast-paced environment.
Job Responsibility

Organize the delivery route taking into account neighborhoods & open/close times

Properly pack product & double-check the order is correct

Drop off the product at stores/restaurants

Moving large 500lbs+ barrels and coordinating with warehouse team for deliveries

Transferring equipment & supplies between our locations as well as executing any pickups from suppliers as needed

Stacking & racking barrels in one of our three warehouses using a forklift (we can assist with OSHA certification) and pallet jack

Responsible for delivery vehicle upkeep including gas and flagging any issues that arise while driving

Ability to professionally coordinate and work with our team. Must have the ability to communicate throughout the day with updates or to report any delays

Drive safely while following all local motor-vehicle laws. Must have a valid NY license and a clean record. CDL appreciated but not needed.

RequirementsHave safe and responsible driving skills and the ability to follow the rules of the road.
Experience driving sprinter vans & box trucks or a CDL is a plus!
Be detail-oriented, reliable, punctual, flexible, and organized.
Have a great attitude and help maintain positive relationships with our vendors
Be able to lift and carry 50+ pounds
Work in non-temperature controlled warehouses (hot summers, cold winters)
COVID vaccination required
Salary$18 – $18 per hour
