Job Description :
The Assistant VP of Family Foster Care works in partnership with Senior Vice President of Children and Family Services to ensure the optimal performance of the Family Foster Program inclusive of administrative tasks and practice programming. The Assistant VP supports the mission and goals of the agency as well as provides supervision and coordination of staff managers and assumes administrative coverage in the absence of the Senior VP of Children and Family Services.Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide administrative coverage of FFC Program in the absence of the Senior VP of Children and Family Services.
Possess a high level of family foster care administrative experience to assist the Senior VP in assessing the strengths and challenges in the program to strategize policy & practice improvements.
Provide quality supervision to Program Managers and Directors within the FFC and TFFC programs.
Monitor monthly program performance indicators to ensure achievement of ACS and OCFS program targets.
Liaise with high level ACS and OCFS Leadership to engage in and develop new practice procedures and protocols.
Conduct regular staff evaluations to provide constructive feedback and if necessary to address performance issues.
Collect and analyze data and information to prepare reports, request for grants, RFPs and other special projects.
Ability to work under pressure and respond to unforeseen circumstances
Keep abreast of current trends and practice models in Child Welfare.
Provide backup coverage to FFC & TFFC staff and program emergency cell phone rotation.

Ability to work independently and interface positively with contractors, the agency’s legal consultants and other service providers.
Able to work flexible hours including evenings and scheduled weekends.
Ability to develop and maintain connections with community- based programs that can provide services to children/families during and after discharge.
Self-motivated team player.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Connections, LTS and ACS Intranet is required.

Education & Experience

Master Degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent degree in psychology, sociology or the relevant behavioral science.
LMSW Required.
Five years of Administrative experience preferred working in foster care.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,000.00 – $115,000.00 per year
