A role you will love
The Digital Foundry is fast paced, and as the UX Designer, you will need to pivot quickly at times. In this role, you are empowered to build and evolve this new function and contribute to making Computershare successful. The Digital Foundry are a bunch of passionate people with a can-do attitude. To be successful you will need to be comfortable navigating through ambiguity whilst enjoying being surrounded by people that are heavily invested in succeeding and driving growth. As the UX Designer, you will understand the blend of Computershare global businesses by helping them on their journey to drive innovation and change to better service for our customers.
Key responsibilities include:
Defining, developing, and executing our Customer Experience strategy for projects by working closely with product development teams to identify areas of growth and innovations
Facilitating workshops and leading with the CPU Customer Driven Innovation Framework
Partnering with our Global Businesses, Technology, and key Operations teams to deliver on our Customer Experience Strategy to fulfill enterprise priorities
Driving customer obsession across the business through knowledge sharing, empowering teams, and developing capability
Communicate insights to fuel ideation in product design and development:
Compile and present learnings to the relevant stakeholders in a clear and actionable way they can use to drive product improvements
Create and update various UX artifacts such as user personas, service blueprints, journey maps and empathy maps
Create reports and presentation decks that summarize findings and deliver insights on user patterns and trends, design trends & competitive landscape
Produce tuning reports that include a detailed analysis of areas in our self-service applications needing improvement and include recommended enhancements
Delivery of improvements of across all core customer journeys by addressing both customer behaviours and attitude influenced by iterative customer feedback loop (interviews, quantitative and qualitative research)
Leading initiatives & customer experiences which support increased satisfaction, build long term customer value, and increase customer loyalty
People Leadership the initial recruitment/onboarding of the Customer Experience team, day-to-day team leadership and coaching, and driving development across the Customer Experience team
Champion and contributor of a close CX/UX practice and community at Computershare. This includes always advocate for our users/customers, help teach and mentor junior researchers and designers, identify gaps in UX research techniques and toolsets & facilitate and participate in workshops with internal stakeholders.
What will you bring to the role?
We are looking for someone who is obsessed with customers and has a data-driven mindset. You will have experience working in Customer Experience, with proven skills in proactively intervening at key moments in the customer lifecycle. Your communication skills and dedication to deliver to deadlines are second-to-none. You will be comfortable with change, autonomy and working in a Global and fast-paced organization.
Other key skills and experience required:
4+ years of CX, UI/UX design experience
Experience using multiple UX or UI design and prototyping tools (such as Axure RP, UXPin, Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, Figma, Miro)
Experience in the design of new products and services
Experience in the ongoing management and maintenance of style guides and/or design systems
The ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
The ability to be highly collaborative and work effectively in a group environment
The ability to influence, motivate and cooperate to achieve the desired outcomes
Proven ability to validate product designs from concept to interactive prototype
Strong understanding of UX design principles and best practices
Bonus points if you have:
B.S. or M.S. in one or more of the following fields: HCI, computer science, visual design, communications, or psychology
Knowledge of React, Angular, or Bootstrap
Experience with creative design tools (e.g. Adobe Creative Cloud)
Experience in a financial service, technology and/or professional services sector

Compensation. Approximately $100,000 – $125,000 per year USD, depending on experience.
