Infusion Coordinator
Job Description
UniversaCare is seeking to hire an Infusion Coordinator for our Hicksville office.
Position: Full-Time
Start Date: Immediately
Responsibilities Obtain authorizations and re-authorizations as required by payers for nursing visits as needed
Schedule new nurses and ongoing visits
Communication assignment of new patients and ongoing primary to field staff
Provide infusion treatment plans to physicians
Communicate with other departments regarding the status of visits scheduled
Notify patient and families of their ongoing nurse visits
Maintain confidentiality of patients
Required Qualifications
Minimum two years’ experience (home care preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience working with Medicare and Medicaid
Experience scheduling nurses
