Job Description :
Overview:

Under the direction of the Payroll Director, the Payroll Coordinator will assist in the processing of bi-weekly payroll, assist in related processes, and maintain employee time records.
Responsibilities:

Enter, maintain, and processes information in the payroll system; information may include employees hourly rates, salaries, commissions, bonuses or other compensation, time worked, paid leave and holidays, deductions and withholding, address changes, and other information
Ensure proper processing of payroll deductions for taxes, benefits, charitable contributions, and other deductions.
Reconcile payroll to the general ledger and monthly bank statements.
Issue or reissue physical or replacement checks, or direct deposits due to payroll errors or final discharge
Record and process federal and state payroll tax deposits
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:

Qualifications

2-4 years of experience in of experience in payroll
Prior ADP Vantage and/or Workforce Now preferred
Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn payroll software
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
Proficient with payroll software and HRIS Systems

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required

Working Conditions

Days and hours of work vary by schedule and business needs
Evening, weekend, and holiday work will be required
