Job Description :
The Olympic Regional Development Authority is seeking an organized individual to be an Events Logistics Coordinator. The Logistics Coordinator is an integral member of the events team. The successful candidate will report to a member of the Event Management staff and manage a mix of department needs along with event logistics for a variety of winter sporting events for the United States National Governing Bodies, International Federations and other sports governing bodies. Primary responsibilities include coordinating and implementing logistical needs such as registration, volunteers, transportation, food and beverage, supplies, flags and signage, awards, accreditation, sound needs, furniture and fixture needs, and other related logistical aspects of sporting events.
Minimum Qualifications/Job Requirements: To be a successful member of the Events Department, one must possess a positive attitude, good energy, and a willingness to learn. Work in the Event Department requires evening, weekend and holiday hours. Candidates must have a four-year college degree. Minimum one year of relevant event management experience or related customer service industry experience required. Strong organizational and communication skills are also needed for success in this position.
Salary: Salary is negotiable based upon skills and experience.
