Job Description :
JOB PURPOSE:
The Personalization Technician is responsible for supporting all product Personalization and related After Sales projects assigned or delegated by the Associate Manager, Personalization & Quality Control. This position will be based out of our warehouse in Farmingdale, New York, with an anticipated 2-3 weeks per year working from our NYC atelier as needed.

TASK & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Knowledge and understanding of all projects pertaining to the Personalization Technician, with responsibility to follow specific guidelines and expectations, such as abiding by strict confidentiality, appropriate handling of client information, and overall Dior process and operational “know-how”
Implement end to end personalization for ABCDior project, from receipt of product, to lettering, embroidery, back office administrative duties, through packing and shipment
The Personalization Technician will be responsible for ensuring all rules and Dior standards are followed, reporting any issues immediately to the Manager, After Sales & Quality Control
Accountability for all administrative duties associated with each project, including CARE, ABCDior back office other systems involved in streamlining the process
Personalization Operations
Responsible for unpacking and organizing product, as well as creating and shipping post-service.
The Personalization Tech will partner with a Boutique Operations Associate for reception and shipment pick, but the Operations Associate does not assist in any other part of the process.
Personalization expansion
As the project expands, the Personalization Technician will be flexible in learning new skills, adapting to new rules and processes, actively assist in SOP creation and project feedback, with the possibility of training additional technicians in the future
Follow Boutique’s operating SOPs and expectations
Hours are Mon-Fri: 9a-6p, with scheduling flexibility as needed to support Boutique and business needs and events on evenings and weekend
Flexibility to support additional ABCDior needs/expansion at our warehouse

REQUIREMENTS:

2+ years of sewing/embroidery/tailoring, preferably in a luxury consumer goods environment
Strong drive for business results with a passion for creativity, fashion and the house
Willingness to adhere to all company policies, procedures, regulations, and standards
Behave at the Boutique and all areas as an employee and representative of Dior, being mindful that the Technician’s relationship with the Boutique is impacted by respect for their facility and policies
Adhere to ABCDior’s operating hours of Mon-Fri: 9am-6pm. The position requires flexibility to sometimes cover other technicians, be in Weekends and or at NYC atelier. Working outside of those hours and overtime is prohibited, unless approved specifically by the Associate Manager, Personalization & Quality Control.
