The ESG Request for Proposal (RFP) team is critical to our short and long-term success as an organization. We are successful when our clients accrue continued value from our solutions and services. RFP analysts are expected to provide a service to our existing and potential client base to ensure that any requests are completed in a consistent, complete and compelling manner.
The RFP team create comprehensive and easy to understand answers in response to requests for proposals and customise responses to meet individual client enquiries. The successful candidate will understand client needs and goals, whilst providing the necessary support to help the client reach an informed decision. The candidates’ goals will be measured through the number of RFP’s completed, the wins associated to those RFP’s and the added value provided to individual client’s responses. This role will partner closely with the Sales, Product Specialist and Client Service teams on retaining existing clients and generating new business.

Additional areas of responsibility:

Proactively complete RFP’s regarding Moody’s ESG solutions on an ongoing basis in close collaboration with the Product Specialist and Sales teams
Track RFPs in SalesForce and RFPIO
Support the implementation, rollout and maintenance of the RFP platform (RFPIO), including finalization of the content and process as well as periodic content review and update to ensure the platform reflects the latest Moody’s ESG proposal content
Lead the coordination and management of proposals, including:

Communicating with Sales and Product Specialists
Translating client needs as articulated in RFPs to a compelling narrative on Moody’s ESG products
Coordinating inputs across relevant teams
Supporting the drafting and finalization of proposal documents
Providing support post RFP completion as required

Degree or equivalent in a business, finance, sustainability or related discipline;
3+ years of experience in client services, sales support, or proposal development;
Outstanding attention to detail;
Creative problem-solving skills and ability to diagnose issues and develop solutions;
Ability to multi-task and meet short deadlines;
Highly organized with excellent presentation skills;
Strong communication skills;
Strong team player and an individual who enjoys interacting with people of all levels in a multicultural environment;
English and French language skills are required; other language skills (Japanese, Spanish, Mandarin) desirable;
Knowledge/use of SalesForce and RFPIO would be advantageous
