The Role

We are looking for a
V.P. Sales & Partnerships who is passionate about human development and has experience selling professional services to scale-up organizations and enterprise customers. The ideal candidate can develop, lead and execute a sales strategy as we grow.

We seek a candidate who has tangible, recent experience in selling to executives, Chief Learning Officers and Chief Human Resource Officers and is passionate about how Abroad is delivering solutions at scale without sacrificing the individual experience.

Responsibilities

Work with the CEO to design an enterprise sales strategy to reach company growth objectives.

Lead top of funnel all the way through close activities while bringing senior level presence and a “serve versus sell mindset.”

Communicate with prospective customers and partners, including e-mail, WhatsApp, phone, Zoom, and occasional in-person meetings.

Track funnel activity in Hubspot. (Admin support available if needed).

Hire, develop and manage a global sales team as the company scales.

Build a sales resource library including slide decks.

In collaboration with the coaching and educational programs teams, develop customer case studies to build credibility.

Attend “Taste of Abroad” dinners in major markets, where we invite executives and people leaders for meaningful human connection and conversation around the future of work.

Regular internal communication on key market developments and learnings from sales calls in addition to timing of prospective contracts in order for the Coaching Team to manage internal capacity

Participate in regular company wide, leadership and team meetings.

Grow and develop yourself as a leader, thereby representing our brand well and demonstrating expertise to customers and partners

Qualifications

Minimum of 5 years of experience leading the sales of professional services to executives, Chief Learning Officers, and Chief Human Resource Officers. ($1b+ USD enterprises, preferred.)

Experience designing, implementing and scaling sales processes in startup environment, Series A level preferred.

Experience operating a sales strategy in a virtual global environment.

Experience and enjoyment of the critical outreach and sales calls required on a weekly basis to execute hands-on the sales strategy.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work under deadlines and adapt to change.

Exceptional personal integrity and strong self-awareness.

You must possess an entrepreneurial and generative spirit.

Personal and/or professional background in coaching and human development is a plus.
