An individual with strong proofreading skills who can adapt to proofreading financial statements, reports, letters and who is detail oriented and focused. Has the ability to work in a constantly changing work environment while balancing multiple priorities. Can shift attention with ease, handle interruptions, and thrive in a fast‐paced atmosphere.
Responsibilities:

Proofreading financial statements, reports, letters, etc., for grammar, spelling, consistency, and content errors within extremely fast‐paced environment while meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
Maintaining incredible attention to detail with excellent knowledge of grammar and firm standard.
Scan, email
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to prioritize workload and handle the pressures of deadlines and rush work
Ability to adapt to new software and processes

Requirements:

3+ years’ experience working as a financial proofreader.
Experience with auditing and accounting related documents a must (i.e. financial statement structure and tie outs)
Previous financial or public accounting firm experience is a plus
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Worksite, iManage, Adobe Acrobat Standard/Pro
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills
Flexibility with hours; overtime when needed
Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and function in a fast‐paced environment
Ability to interact professionally with employees of all levels within the
firm; strong communication skills are a must.
