The Role:
Manage internal agency research and evaluation efforts. Provide support for strategic evaluation and continuous quality improvement projects. Serve as agency lead in external research projects, including management of research partnerships and development of research grant proposals.
Responsibilities:

Lead research and evaluation efforts across agency of 37 programs at 11 sites annually serving 35,000 community members and over 500 staff
Direct formative and summative evaluation and impact assessment of programs, including development of logic models, program theory, theory of change, quantitative and qualitative data collection, and reporting
Manage agency dashboard to track compliance and impact outcomes for reporting to Executive Board and funders
Design and conduct quantitative and qualitative data analyses examining program outputs and outcomes, including descriptive and inferential analyses
Create multi-year program implementation plans, facilitate external partnerships to enhance implementation efficacy
Author internal and external white papers and summarizing agency impact
Coordinate partnership with Director of Public Policy to develop external facing documents summarizing agency position on key strategic issues

Requirements:

PhD in relevant field plus general experience conducting community-based and/or applied research, program evaluation
Knowledge of relevant developmental and intervention science literature
Advanced skill with Microsoft Office, including data management in Microsoft Excel.
Advanced knowledge of database systems and data visualization software.
Experience collecting, managing, analyzing, and reporting qualitative and quantitative data.
Experience with SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, and/or other survey distribution systems.

Large scale research project management, day to day study coordination
In-depth data analysis expertise, including descriptive, inferential, multilevel models
Grant writing, with specific focus on philanthropic and private funding proposals to support research
