Job Description :
We are looking for a hands on team player who can multitask and work in a time sensitive environment
Manage and lead accounting and HR/payroll departments
Ensure complaince with all HR, employment, accounting, sales and business regulations
Timely prepare journal entries, accruals, monthly and annual P&L and other financial and busines statements
Account analysis of accounts including variances
Prepare budgets, monitor compliance
Multi state environment
Sales tax compliance
Deal directly with insurance carriers and banks
Negotiate all insurance policies (health care, business, property, workers compensation, etc.)
Analyze all insurance premium audits for accuracy
Adminstration of 401k including ADP/ACP testing and ensuring data accuracy
Reports directly to Chief Executive Officer and President
Must have recent updating of knowledge in HR regulations
Sage software experience necessary
BA in accounting or related field
CPA a plus
At least 8 years experience in roles with increased responsibility in accounting and HR, with at least 4 of those years as a Controller
Legal contract knowledge and prior experience in leases a plus
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $115,000.00 per year

Education:

Bachelor’s (Preferred)

Experience:

controller: 4 years (Preferred)
