An award-winning teaching hospital in New York is searching for an experienced Director of Radiology to join their team!
This acute care facility is home to 400+ beds, an adult/pediatric trauma center, NICU, robotic surgery, oncology, pediatrics, and a family birthing pavilion! This hospital utilizes the latest in technology and evidence-based practices. This facility utilizes a patient first philosophy.
The Hospital Director of Radiology will assist in management of the Radiology department, establishment of policies, procedures, standards and objectives for the provision of radiological services, the evaluation and maintenance of quality assurance programs, and the coordination with other departments in providing optimal services to patients. Assists in the selection of any or all of the above technologies and is responsible for education, training, upgrades, and the day-to-day management these technologies. Direct supervision of lead technical and lead transport staff in the above areas. Maintains staffing plans & reviews work assignments
The Director of Radiology will be expected to have thorough knowledge of radiologic procedures used in patient treatments. Thorough knowledge of safety and proper usages of all mechanical and electrical equipment used in Radiology. Knowledge of and ability to apply professional medical principles, procedures, and techniques. Knowledge of supervisory principles and practices.
Requirements Include:

Certification/Licensure:
DOH RT license required.
ARRT certification required.
5+ years of Leadership Experience
