Job Description :
GVI, Inc., a Federal Government contracting industry leader, is seeking a Site Manager with experience supervising aircraft operations to support our customer in Corpus Christi, TX.
Responsibilities:

Perform the full task of managerial work involving depot level maintenance production and services.
Capable of performing the same duties as designated for the Site Manager and capable of performing in their absence responsible for the day-to-day operations of performance of all work in support of the performance of depot level maintenance production and services of a large aircraft production divisions, subordinate branches, and sections with the responsibilities and functions to support weapon systems, i.e., UH-60, Blackhawk; CH-47 Chinook; Recapitalization; Crash Damage; and AH-64 Apache.
Manage delays or problems; quality control, health and safety of employees; communications between all parties involved onsite; and is well-organized.
Develop and implement aviation operations, policies, and procedures for subordinates.
Oversee the planning, direction, and timely execution of work in support of aircraft production operations and related logistics support operations including assigning goals and objectives to subordinate managers or supervisors.
Ensure compliance with Army, DOD, and CCAD regulations, processes and standards.
Assign qualified employees to work areas and shifts. Investigates complaints, disturbances, and violations and resolve problems following management rules and regulations.
Conduct training sessions and meetings and facilitates communication between personnel and CCAD Management and Supervisors; highly qualified with general supervisory experience, asset management, and property accountability procedures.

Requirements:

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check
Active Secret Clearance
Five years Aircraft experience
Good verbal and written communication skills
Ability to supervise large team complements including lead-man, production plans, and material and quality control personnel
High degree of tact, judgment, knowledge, and integrity
Ability to deal with and influence others in a positive manner
Knowledgeable of ANSI/ISO/ASQ Q9001-2000 QMS requirements, applicable CCAD SOPs, DOD Regulations and the Privacy Act.
