2 years of customer service experience
Valid CA Class C license required with excellent driving record
Must be 21 years or older with a California Driver’s License (at least two years with CA driver’s license)
High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Ability to upgrade to Class B driver’s license with a passenger endorsement and air brakes certification, with no restrictions of the weight of the vehicle
Availability to work varying shifts, hours, days, and locations


Must be able to read, write and speak English well enough to sufficiently perform all essential functions and duties of the Bus Operator

Sitting, walking, standing, bending neck (up and down), twisting neck (side to side), twisting and bending waist (forward or sideways), squatting (similar to the bowling position), climbing, kneeling (to bend on one knee), simple grasping, controlled grasping, power grasping, fine manipulation, pushing/pulling, reaching above/below/at shoulder height and lifting/carrying 0 – 30 pounds.

Upon Request, a DMV Driving record printout is required with application (must be current within the 30 days of the printout).
