Position Overview
The Human Resources Representative supports the HR Department and the facility management team with full cycle recruitment, benefits, employee relations, and payroll assistance for multiple business units. This position is essential in supporting the business by collaborating with the management team to reach goals and objectives of the company.

Roles and Responsibilities

Responsible for interpreting policies, ensuring compliance with all policies, company processes, and state/federal employment law.

Partner with management on employee relations and conducting internal investigations.

Effectively interface and communicate with all levels of management and employees within the facility

Administers recruitment process to all recruiting efforts, interviewing, applicant skills testing, salary recommendations, offer letters, coordinating pre-employment background checks, drug screens, new hire paperwork, e-verify, and on-barding of all new employees.

Conduct HR Presentations

Administer leaves of absences including FMLA

Supports department and company-wide special projects.

Ensures that all written documentation used in related to human resources follows Company objectives, laws, and regulations.

Lead employee engagement initiative.

Skills and Experience

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Knowledge of Employment Law and experience navigating compliance with local, state, and federal law

Excellent computer skills and experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)

Results-oriented with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment

Must be approachable and effective with ability to influence change across all levels of the organization.

Proven time management skills; ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks effectively

Ability to maintain strict confidentiality, but also sensitive situations where information must be shared on a ‘need to know’ basis.

Required Qualifications:

Education: Associates Degree in Human Resources Management, Business, Communication and/or related field

Experience: 1-3 years of progressive and relevant high-level HR experience in the areas of employee/labor relations, internal investigations, conflict resolution and talent acquisition.
