Job Description
We are looking for a Center Director to oversee the daily operations of our school while demonstrating exceptional professional conduct and consideration for the educational development, safety, and welfare of the children and staff. Come join our amazing Daycare setting in Far Rockaway, a very diverse community, with convenient transportation. The Center’s year round operating hours are 7:30 am – 6:00pm Monday through Friday
Responsibilities Include:

Supervising Staff Members, implement curriculum, and develop parent rapport
Implementing Staffing Schedule
Working to ensure compliance of state regulations
Conducting tours of the school
Maintaining accurate records for both children and staff
Delegating tasks
Conducting staff meetings
Providing a safe, healthy, consistent, positive, caring environment to all children
Marketing and enrollment
Monthly observations of the teachers and classroom environment to ensure academic excellence * Complying with state licensing and school policies and regulations

Requirements:

Possess a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Early Childhood Education
1st Aid and CPR (infant and child) certified within the 1st 90 days of employment
Three plus years of experience working in a childcare setting
Minimum of 1-year experience in a supervisory position in childcare, which includes administrative experience
Understanding of general business procedures
Ability to communicate company policies and procedures in a firm and clear manner to staff and parents
Be enthusiastic and adaptable
Marketing efforts to grow the enrollment of the center
Strong customer service and communication skills
