Job Summary
Our growing company is seeking to hire a Customer Service Manager to join and oversee our rapidly growing customer service team.
The Customer Service Manager will oversee the day-to-day operation of the customer service department, provide leadership to the customer service team, and ensure every one of our customer’s sales and service needs is cared for in the best possible way.
The successful Customer Service Manager will be driven to provide excellence in customer service, be capable of juggling multiple competing priorities, be competent in using Microsoft Office applications such as Word and Excel, and have exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills. A bachelor’s degree in a related field of study or equivalent experience and at least five (5) years of relevant experience is required for consideration.
· Oversee our growing customer service team.
· Set sales and customer service goals for team members and help them reach those goals.
· Interact with customers, handling customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.
· Ensure all service orders and trouble tickets are processed in a timely manner.
· Ensure proper customer billing for services.
· Establish and implement initial and ongoing training plans for team members.
· Ensure team member competencies in service methods, technical skills, and product offerings.
· Establish and manage service quality monitoring systems.
· Create a department calendar for fulfilling each goal and objective.
· Complete required regulatory reporting as required.
· Report to management, sales, and other key stakeholders on department status.
· Stay current on industry trends and techniques.
· Perform other duties as necessary.
· Highly goal oriented.
· Proficient with corporate productivity and web presentation tools.
· Experience working with project management systems.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
· Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
· Strong listening and presentation skills.
· Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field of study; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Five (5) or more years of industry or related experience.
· Ensures customers and their needs are the primary focus of one’s actions, developing and sustaining productive customer relationships.
· Strong organizational skills and time management.
· Demonstrates a detail-oriented, analytical multi-tasking work style.
· Self -directed and team focused in accomplishing work objectives through completion efficiently and on time/within proper time limits.
· Demonstrates strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to demonstrate resiliency in adverse situations.
· Technical/professional expertise required to do the job effectively and to create effective customer solutions.
· Exemplary Attendance and Punctuality.
· Readiness to learn.
· Sets high standards of performance for self; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks.
