Job Description :
Excellent opportunity to join a premier plumbing supply company at its headquarters in Brooklyn. The Inventory Control Manager will be responsible for maintaining the integrity of the inventory counts and for reconciling inventory variances, short picks, receiving discrepancies and cost adjustments. The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach; assisting in directing warehouse personnel in inventory activities and cycle counting. Knowledge of the Plumbing, Heating, and/or Mechanical industries a plus!!
Responsibilities:

Executes daily inventory analysis; identifies and resolves discrepancies.
Coordinates with warehouse associates on inventory verification.
Interfaces with counterparts in the branches to reconcile receiving variances.
Accurately records any adjustments in the ERP system.
Manages cycle counting process.
Directs periodic full inventory at the branches annually.
Coordinates with the warehouse and purchasing team to optimize stock levels company wide.
Maintain ERP system parameters including min/max and safety stock settings as directed.

Requirements:

3-5 years inventory control experience in wholesale/retail distribution or equivalent. (Plumbing, Heating, Mechanical industries highly desired).
Understanding of warehousing and supply chain process.

Ability to read and understand shipping documents.

Excellent number skill and analytical mindset.

Advanced skill in Microsoft Excel.

Excellent communicator both written and verbal.

Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
