Job Description :
The Rochester Red Wings/Diamond Catering & Events are seeking picnic staff members for the 2022 baseball season.
Picnic staff members ensure that food and beverages are served promptly to picnic guests and perform all guest contact activities in a cordial, efficient and professional manner.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction.
Ensure that food and beverages are served in a timely manner while maintaining a consistent presentation and temperature.
Replenish food, condiments, serviceware and utensils as needed.
Maintain a cooperative, team-like attitude in working with supervisors and co-workers, including other departments.
Communicate any issues to management.
Enforce all sanitation procedures including safety guidelines.
Organize equipment for an event as well as cleaning and maintaining during and after an event.
Immediately communicate any food and beverage special requests or guest concerns to management.
Follow all designated opening and closing procedures to ensure areas are secure and energy efficient.
Follow all rules and regulations which apply to Diamond Catering & Events and the Rochester Red Wings.
Complete all other duties and responsibilities assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Demonstrate exceptional customer service, communication and problem solving skills.
Work independently and exercise initiative.
Remain flexible and able to adjust to any situation that may arise.
Handle stressful situations calmly.
Work with co-workers, volunteers and all levels of staff.
***Qualified applicants must possess the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous hospitality experience preferred but not required. MUST be willing to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
