We are looking for an experienced Human Resources Director to ensure that all human resources (HR) operations are carried on smoothly and effectively. You will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.
An HR Director must be an experienced professional with deep knowledge of all matters concerning HR departments. You should be able to manage programs and lead staff while also possessing a strong strategic mindset.
The goal is to ensure that all HR needs of the company are being met and are aligned with all business objectives.

Where we need you

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:
Develop corporate plans for a variety of HR matters such as compensation, benefits, succession etc. Act to support the human factor in the company by devising strategies for performance evaluation, staffing, training and development etc. Oversee all HR initiatives, systems and tactics Supervise the work of HR personnel and provide guidance Serve as the point of contact for employment relations and communicate with labor unions Monitor adherence to internal policies and legal standards Deal with grievances and violations invoking disciplinary action when required Anticipate and resolve litigation risks Report to senior management by analyzing data and using HR metrics
Required Skills/Abilities:
Broad knowledge and experience in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, and training and development. Above average oral and written communication skills. Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills. Demonstrated ability to lead and develop Human Resources staff members. Demonstrated ability to serve as a successful participant on the executive management team that provides company leadership and direction. Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. Must include Excel and skills in database management and record keeping. General knowledge of various employment laws and practices. Experience in the administration of benefits and compensation programs and other Human Resources programs. Evidence of the practice of a high level of confidentiality. Excellent organizational skills.

How to convince us

Education and Experience:
Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business, Organization Development. Ten plus years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions. Specialized training in employment law, compensation, organizational planning, organization development, employee relations, safety, training, and preventive labor relations, preferred. Active affiliation with appropriate Human Resources networks and organizations and ongoing community involvement preferred. Possess ongoing affiliations with leaders in successful companies and organizations that practice effective Human Resources Management.
