Our benefits management approach has delivered an exceptional level of administration and support to over 1,900 member companies and covers approximately 110,000 employees statewide across any of our benefit plans.
Customer Service Representative Job Responsibilities:
Serves members by providing product and service information.
Maintains member records by updating account and enrollment information.
Resolves product, service, or billing problems by clarifying the member’s complaint, determining the cause of the problem, and explaining the best solution to solve the problem, expediting correction or adjustment, and following up to ensure resolution.
Recommends potential products or services to management by collecting customer information and analyzing customer needs.
Review new business documents for accuracy, communication with brokers and member’s, provide training and assistance for the online portal.
Maintain the user guides and provide periodic training to staff, brokers, and members
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
Build sustainable relationships and trust with brokers and member’s accounts through open and interactive communication
Keep records of interactions, process member accounts and file documents
Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies
Customer Service Representative Qualifications / Skills:
Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative
Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening
Customer orientation and ability to adapt/respond to different types of characters
Excellent communication and documentation skills
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively
Strong problem-solving skills: ability to analyze information accurately
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:
High School diploma or equivalent
University/college degree is an asset
Life and Health Insurance License
Familiarity with on-line enrollment system a plus
Previous employee benefits insurance experience preferred
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $22.00 per hour
